NEWS UPDATE MARCH 2009

I'm sorry my website hasn't been up to date recently but I am going to try and let you all know what is happening so you have lots of notice if you would like to join me at an event. Firstly I have to say such a big thank you to everyone who has supported me and attended events over this last year , without you it just wouldn't have happened. It has been such a busy time with so many things changing and new opportunities for the future I am really excited and looking forward to continuing my work with Spirit. I cant believe its March again already, time certainly speeds past when you are busy. I am updating my website during this next week so please keep popping back to have another look and find out all the news. I know that at the moment the news is full of doom and gloom but stay positive , think positively and down allow yourself to be dragged down by all of it. Remember as you think so you are ! Thank you to everyone who made my Investigating Trance course 2009 so successful at the Arthur Findlay College, it was a fabulously spiritual week. Made all the better by my team of tutors Minister Brenda Lawrence, Tim Abbott CSNU and Mallory Stendall, they shared their knowledge, their love of spirit and their laughter with you. Who could forget Maxine Anderson's Naming Service, it was a pleasure to be able to take this service for such a crazy but awesome lady. It really contributed to the week and everyone truly enjoyed the Circle of Power when we all sat afterwards just for Maxine, who now has the spirit name of 'Asha' which means Hope in Sanskrit and Life in African. Thank you Maxine Asha it was my privilege to do this for you. Bookings are already well underway for So You Want To Be A Medium which is 4th - 11th July. At the Arthur Findlay College, Stansted, Essex. Why not check it out from the college website www.athurfindlaycollege.org My tutors will be Tim Abbott CSNU and Rowena Hardwick CSNU. As an added extra to the course we may on the Tuesday evening be going into London to see a West End show. It always seems such a shame to me that we have students travelling in from all over the world to attend our beautiful college and we are so close to London but never get to see it. So we take an evening out for those who wish to and travel by coach into London, see a show and on the way back take a whistle stop tour of the sites of London's landmarks. Its fun, its soul food, just what we need in the midst of a busy week.
This year I am honoured to be Officiating at two weddings, both couples are dear friends, Colin Birch will be marrying Denise in July and Tim Abbott will be marrying Janette in August. I am so pleased for them all and am already looking for my hat !
I am also in the process of studying for my Ministership, so its head down , type fast and think faster, as I have to get my head into student mode again. I am so proud to have been asked to become a Minister of the Spiritualists National Union. For those of you who have added me on Facebook ( almost 500) it is such a fabulous way of staying in touch but please excuse me if I don't say hello every day I would spend all of my time just typing it ! Feel free to add me as I will post on Facebook any news or events for those who don't see my website. About Libby
Libby has been aware of the spirit world from being a small child, but with her paternal grandmother being mediumistic and her Grandfather being a working trance medium there was always going to be a strong potential for mediumship within. It was never strange if her grandmother said she had been talking to ‘Mrs Smith’, it would just be the thought, ‘Oh yes she is one of the dead ones’.
Communicating with spirit was just like coming home and although Libby was 16 before she entered a Spiritualist Church it was for her a very natural and simple continuation of her pathway.
Within 18 months she was taking her first Church service and has never looked back.
In those early days she was guided by some of the UK’s finest mediums, Gordon Higginson, Glynn Edwards and Robin Stevens to name just a few.
Based in Nottinghamshire for over 28 years Libby has worked as a Spiritualist Medium, travelling the length and breadth of the UK. Throughout this time she has gained a great deal of experience and a higher profile within the Spiritualist movement serving Spiritualist Churches groups, organisations and private individuals, undertaking Church services, demonstrations of Mediumship, private sittings, healing, workshops, seminars and teaching groups. In more recent years she has been working extensively overseas including, Italy, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Southern Ireland and the USA. Teaching a range of subjects from relaxation and meditation skills through to all aspects of Mediumship, Healing, Trance, Awareness and Sensitivity.
She enjoys teaching Philosophy, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills and over the last fifteen years has gained experience and skills in the fields of stress management and personal development and is a fully qualified Counsellor and Life Coach.
For several years Libby has been privileged to be a Course Organiser and Tutor at the Arthur Findlay College and thoroughly enjoys teaching and sharing with her students, many of whom return again and again to continue their spiritual and personal education under Libby’s expert guidance.
